Dark keyboard with Notification Ring is not working, Lit-up Keyboard and Notification Ring Ignore Duration Setting

Titan 2 Elite, PhysiBoard 2.0.7.
Notification Ring minimum duration is set to 1 minute.
“Dark keyboard” / keyboard-off-during-ring setting is enabled.
I toggled the settings off/on, rebooted the phone, and retested.
Every notification still keeps both the notification ring and keyboard backlight on for exactly 3 minutes.
I timed it repeatedly.
