Finally we have multiple options for N64 on ARM32

I tested these cores on Lumia 950 & 950XL Performance is good and playable as below

Mupen64Plus Next

Pros

  • Supports high res textures
  • Very accurate
  • Advanced options
  • Good speed if Threaded Render active

Cons

  • Power consuming is high
  • Will be slow if the CPU went hot

GLupeN64

This is old version of Mupen64Plus made by gizmo98

Pros

  • Faster than the newer version

Cons

  • Same issue above when you play for long time
  • No high res textures support

Parallel N64

I consider this the best option

Pros

  • Very fast
  • Playable performance
  • Supports multiple engines (Rice, Gln64, Glide64)

Cons

  • No high res textures support
  • Rice has some problems with games like Smash bros
  • Gln64 has textures issue in some games
  • Glide64 is good but not very fast

Note

To get better performance in Mupen64Plus (1 & 2 cores) I had to disable FrameBuffer This will result in some issues with few games so you need to activate it manually based on the game

In some cases/games Mupen64Plus Next with Threaded Render is faster than Parallel N64
