The netsender package adds the RequestMtsV2 request type and "v2/mts" route. Sender.Send accepts the new type and skips varsum extraction for both MTS request variants. The package version changes from 173 to 174.

MTS v2 requests are implemented, but a regression in their route or response handling could pass the current test suite unnoticed.

🟡 Minor · Add a focused RequestMtsV2 Sender.Send test. · pi/netsender/netsender.go:575-638

575-638: 🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win

Add a focused RequestMtsV2 Sender.Send test. RequestMtsV2 is exported, but no current test calls Sender.Send with it. The path and service lookup use the "v2/mts" key, and the response returns before varsum extraction. A regression in these behaviors can pass the current suite. Use a non-empty payload, configure a distinct "v2/mts" service address, and assert the route and successful response without vs.

Can you link to the supporting documentation? What is a v2 mts request supposed to be again? What's it for?

MtsV2 is the updated version of the MTS endpoint that uses cloud storage URLs instead of entire MTS clips (ie the camera uploads the clip to cloud storage and then gives datablue the URL to the clip). The old one is left in place for backwards compatibility. See this commit for more details: ausocean/cloud@7c0d33e.
