Notes about regression tests:

• One unit test fails as expected by pre-existing documentation. The failure would occur before I made any changes to the repository and I was able to confirm that my implementation was unrelated to the test failure. The eight tests I added for my code additions all pass.
• There were failures for reuse that were caused by untracked files/artifacts that surfaced during the process of running tests. Zach confirmed with me directly that I do not need to worry about this and that it will be handled later.
