"ONOSENDAI looks amazing but I have no idea what I'm looking at." The
menu says it first now: under the wordmark, left-aligned, a face at
emoji size and a speech bubble that cycles through the things people
say ("what is all this?", "what am i looking at?", "i'm confused",
"can someone explain this?", "where am i?"), each phrase decoding out
of glyph noise the way a found key's chip does, holding for a few
seconds, then giving way to the next. The text is the buttons' blue.
The whole row is a link to the channel where the one-minute videos
answer it, opened in a new tab. Under reduced motion the words simply
change. A phrase lands whole on schedule whatever the frame loop does,
since a background tab throttles it.
The face is a placeholder until arkinox names the one he meant.
Measured: scrambled at 0 s, "what is all this?" whole by 1.5 s, held,
the next phrase decoding at 5.5 s and whole by 6.9 s; the row 20 px
emoji, accent-colored text, the link to the channel with target
_blank.

Three things from arkinox's review. The tail met the bubble with a pixel of daylight and a seam where it crossed the outline: it overlaps by a pixel now, in the bubble's own color, which is opaque so the covered outline vanishes and the tail's two outer edges read as the outline continuing. The row changed height as phrases changed: it is fixed at 46 px, two lines, so a phrase that wraps changes the bubble and not the panel. And the row is boxed like the wordmark, the same width centred the same way, so the face sits on the wordmark's left edge and stays there whatever the bubble says; the words stay left aligned beside it. Five more phrases, his: "i need an adult", "cyberspace???", "help, what is this?", "is this for real?", "i'm lost". Measured at 1400 and 430 wide over five phrases: row left equals the wordmark's left (31 and 70), the face's left never moves, the row is 46 px throughout; the tail join checked at 3x. Arkinox changed his mind on the centring: the row is left-aligned in the panel again, the face on the panel's left edge, where it stays whatever the bubble says. The fixed height and the joined tail stay. Measured: row left, panel left and the face's left all at 16 px; the row 46 px.
