OpenDisplay version
0.11.0
Build flavor
Full
macOS version / build
26.6.2 (25G83)
Mac model & chip
MacBook Pro 16" M4 Max
Display model(s)
Pro Display XDR, Studio Display
Connection route
Thunderbolt dock
Steps to reproduce
- Add both displays to a group.
- Turn on "Use the brightness & volume keys to control displays" option in Health & Recovery (you may want to reconsider the position in the IA - perhaps a different section for those options?) and allow in System Settings (I even restarted the app to be sure it had permission).
I also have Alcove installed but even with that quit, it makes no difference.
Expected vs actual behavior
Expected
Adjusting brightness on one display causes the other to sync via any on the input controls; the brightness controls, system settings, or OpenDisplay's own controls.
Actual
Adjusting brightness only syncs via OpenDisplay's own controls.
