Along with updating toolchain deps, this fixes a warning from React (about createFactory deprecation) and adds
|| ^17.0.0to the react dependency. The goal is to allow existing old code using this to continue to function while still moving forward with React.I'm just offering this up. I don't expect it to land, since this project is basically deprecated.
