Please add support for Claude Sonnet 5.5 on Amazon Bedrock.

PR #1849 included support for this model. However, the PR was closed due to merge conflicts and author inactivity.

Is support for this model still planned? Is there a new PR or an expected release date?

I currently use Claude Opus 5.5 on Amazon Bedrock. I would also like to use Sonnet 5.5 to balance performance and cost.
