TabNest

A local-first Chrome tab organizer built on native tab groups.

TabNest helps you turn a crowded browser into a tidy workspace without replacing Chrome's own tab model. Tabs remain live browser tabs; categories are standard Chrome tab groups that can be collapsed, expanded, renamed, reordered, and managed from the extension.

Highlights

  • Organize live tabs into native Chrome tab groups.
  • Use a compact floating or docked in-page control surface.
  • Drag tabs between categories and place them at a precise position.
  • Browse, rename, reorder, delete, and refile categories from the management page.
  • Keep data local to the browser: no account, sync service, analytics, server, or third-party upload.
  • Start in the browser language and choose from eight supported interface languages in settings.

Privacy

TabNest does not create a cloud account and does not send browsing data to a remote service. Its settings are stored with Chrome extension local storage, while categories are Chrome's native tab groups.

Read the full Privacy Policy.
