NEED TO MAKE CHANGES REGARDING REBRAND FROM GITLAWB TO TWIGPINE #1129
Here's what still says Gitlawb on main (4dc603f), split into what can go now and what needs your call. #1105 from @PierrunoYT already covers most of the first part. It has been waiting on a split since my review on Oct 2, now conflicts with main, and can use this issue as its parent.
Can go now, as one small PR
The defaults that installs and zero update fetch from: DefaultRepository in internal/update, ZERO_REPO in scripts/install.sh and scripts/install.ps1, REPO in scripts/postinstall.mjs, and the Action's zero-repo default. All of them only work today through GitHub's redirect from the old name.
Repository links: the install URLs in the README and docs, the issue templates, the repository, homepage and bugs URLs in package.json, bin/zero.js, packaging/homebrew/zero.rb (the tap is Twigpine/homebrew-tap now) and the Action's author.
Needs your call
Go module path. 639 Go files import github.com/Gitlawb/zero. Once go.mod changes, every open PR that adds an import or a new file needs the same rename before it compiles, so it's one sweep and the timing is yours. go install github.com/Twigpine/zero/cmd/zero@latest only works after a release is tagged with the new path, so the docs should keep the old path until then.
npm package. It's @gitlawb/zero, which also appears in release-please-config.json, the platform packages and the install detection in internal/update. A new scope means a new package with its own trusted publisher, and existing installs only find it if the old package is deprecated with a pointer.
AIMLAPI attribution.DefaultPartnerName and the X-AIMLAPI-Integration-Repo header in internal/aimlapi are what AIMLAPI sees.
The GitLawb OpenGateway provider. Renaming the gitlawb-opengateway id or GITLAWB_OPENGATEWAY_API_KEY breaks saved configs unless the old names keep working as aliases, and whether opengateway.gitlawb.com moves is up to you.
LICENSE, which says "Copyright (c) 2026 Gitlawb".
CHANGELOG.md is history and should stay as it is.
@PierrunoYT, are you still up for splitting #1105 with the defaults first? If not, I can pick that part up.
