Why

The Boosted lane is live (PRs #98–#100), but a visitor who sees it cannot act on it: boosting starts only from a token page or /me. This PR lets people start a boost from the lane, shows what it takes to get in, and credits boosters.

What

  • Boost a token in the lane header (every screen size). Each open place is a button: one per place from 1024px, one "+ N open spots · Boost a token" row below that.

  • Picker (BoostPicker, loaded on first use):

    • the connected wallet's own Base launches first;
    • a Base search;
    • trending on Base before you type.

    Picking goes to /t/base/<token>?boost=1#boost, where the existing dialog opens with all its checks. Nothing is sent from the lane or the picker. A token an admin keeps out of the lane says "Not shown in the lane" instead of sending you to a page with no Boost button.

  • What it takes to get in, beside the title (its own line on phones): "2 open spots · from 100K TWIG" or "Full · 5th place holds 1.2M TWIG". It is read off the cards shown, so it never contradicts them.

  • Booster credit on each card: "by @name ✓" (or a short address) for the wallet that sent the most TWIG in the last 24h (ties: newer boost, then address).

    • Names come with the lane, so there is no address-to-name swap.
    • The credit replaces the card's "Latest burn" link; burns stay on the token page's Boost panel.
  • API:

    • /api/launch/list accepts launcher=0x…;
    • the lane read carries top_booster and names;
    • GET /api/boost uses the shared few-second lane cache.

Rules kept

  • "Not a ranking": the ranking, Live sort and Trending still never read boosts, clicks or booster data.
  • No new motion beyond hover. All new copy lives in BOOST_COPY and passes the banned-words test.
  • Everything stays hidden with BOOST=off.

Testing

  • Unit:
    • the entry line (empty / partly full / full);
    • the top-booster choice and its ties;
    • the floor phrase.
  • Code-structure tests:
    • the picker only navigates (no wallet code);
    • Base-only sources and the launcher filter;
    • the hidden-token check comes before any navigation;
    • credit links are raised above the card's link;
    • open places are buttons;
    • names come with the lane;
    • the GET lane read is cached.
  • Headless Chrome on desktop, tablet and phone, light and dark:
    • empty, 3-card and full lanes;
    • picker → token page with the dialog open;
    • a hidden token stays put with a note;
    • no console errors.
  • /code-review high: 9 of 10 findings fixed (declined: a shared search hook with the ⌘K palette, out of scope).
  • 1,304 tests pass, tsc and lint clean.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Added a boost picker for browsing your recent Base launches, trending tokens, and search results, with options to fill open boost spots.
    • The picker checks boost eligibility and identifies tokens hidden from the lane.
    • Boost lane cards show entry guidance and credit the leading booster, with profile links when names are available.
    • Launch listings can be filtered by launcher address, supporting a “Your launches” view.
  • Documentation
    • Updated boost lane guidance to explain entry thresholds, booster credits, and picker behavior.

…entry line, booster credit

- "Boost a token" in the lane header on every screen size; each open place is a button from 1024px, one
  "+ N open spots · Boost a token" row below that. All open the picker (BoostPicker, loaded on first use): the
  connected wallet's own Base launches first, a Base search, or trending on Base. Picking goes to
  /t/base/<token>?boost=1#boost, where the dialog opens with every check it has; nothing is sent from the lane.
- What it takes to get in, beside the title (its own line on a phone): "2 open spots · from 100K TWIG", or
  "Full · 5th place holds 1.2M TWIG". The lane read carries `entry` from the same ranked list the token page uses.
- Each card credits the wallet that sent the most TWIG for it in the last 24 hours ("by @name ✓" via WhoName, the
  short address otherwise; ties go to the newer boost, then the address). The credit replaces the card's "Latest
  burn" link; the burns stay on the token page's Boost panel. A failed credit read never fails the lane.
- The entry line is read off the cards the lane shows (boostEntryLine(totals)): it can no longer advertise an open
  spot or a 5th-place total the cards contradict. The lane payload drops the server's ranked `entry`.
- Credit names come with the lane (`names`, null = no profile) and seed a NamesProvider, so the first paint shows
  "by @name" with no address-to-name swap and no client lookups.
- GET /api/boost reads the lane from the same few-second cache as pages and polls: polling it adds no database pass.
- The picker asks only for what it shows: "Your launches" through a new `launcher=` filter on /api/launch/list
  (not /api/me), trending cached a minute across opens. A token an admin keeps out of the lane says "Not shown in the
  lane" in the picker instead of sending the visitor to a page with no Boost button.
- One "from 100K TWIG" phrase (BOOST_FROM_FLOOR) for the line and the open-place buttons.
- The lane's list is labelled "Places in the Boosted lane": it holds the cards and the open places.
- docs/boost.md: the stale "Latest burn" paragraph.

📝 Walkthrough

The boost lane now displays leading booster credits, entry guidance, and picker controls. The picker lists and searches Base tokens, checks boost settings, and navigates to token pages. The launch-list API accepts an optional validated launcher filter.

Changes: Boost lane and launch picker

Layer / File(s) Summary
Booster attribution and lane response
app/src/lib/launchpad/boost.ts, app/src/lib/launchpad/boostServer.ts, app/src/app/api/boost/route.ts, app/src/app/llms.txt/route.ts, app/src/lib/launchpad/boost.test.ts, app/src/components/launchpad/boost-ui.test.ts
The lane response includes credited wallets and resolved names. The selector ranks boosters by TWIG total, then latest boost, then wallet address. The boost route returns a 502 response when the nullable lane loader returns no lane.
Picker data, filtering, and selection
app/src/app/api/launch/list/route.ts, app/src/components/launchpad/BoostPicker.tsx, app/src/components/launchpad/boost-ui.test.ts
The picker loads wallet and trending launches, searches Base tokens, and checks boost settings before navigation. The launch-list endpoint accepts a valid launcher address and lowercases it before filtering.
Lane entry controls and credited cards
app/src/lib/launchpad/boost.ts, app/src/lib/launchpad/boost.test.ts, app/src/components/launchpad/BoostedLane.tsx, app/src/components/launchpad/boost-ui.test.ts, app/src/components/ui.ts, docs/boost.md
The lane shows entry guidance, booster credits, and responsive buttons that open the picker. Entry text reports open spots or the fifth-place total for a full lane. Tests and documentation cover the updated lane and picker behavior.

Comment thread app/src/components/launchpad/BoostPicker.tsx
CodeRabbit on #101: pick awaited the hidden-token check with nothing to cancel it, so closing the sheet (Escape,
backdrop, ×) while it ran still navigated to the token page when the answer came back. The check now has its own
AbortController, aborted when the picker unmounts, and an aborted check returns before any state or navigation.
Reproduced in headless Chrome with the network slowed: the old code navigated after Escape, this one stays.
