Add more address providers (HERE + Radar.io) to improve coverage and throughput for our hosted MVP and to enable benchmarking.
Who Uses This
- E-shops: better suggestions and reliability.
- Operators: fewer outages and less dependency on a single upstream.
- Product/engineering: ability to benchmark providers and compare quality.
What “Done” Means (Business)
- The hosted service can use Nominatim + HERE + Radar as sources for suggestions.
- If one provider is slow or failing, the service still returns suggestions (fallback/partial results).
- We can benchmark providers during testing (simple internal switch / config).
Constraints
- Keep it lean: no provider-agnostic abstraction work beyond what’s needed.
- Optimize for MVP reliability and speed, not perfect architecture.
Out of Scope
- Full provider marketplace / plugin system.
- Complex routing, multi-region, or global-scale concerns.
