Today's debt-repayment release adds the mechanics trio:
- power — mw, kw, w, hp (mechanical = 550 ft·lbf/s), hp(m) (metric PS), hp(e) (electric 746 W), btu/h (IT), ftlb/s
- force — kn, n, dyn, lbf, kgf (kp), gf (standard gravity 9.80665 m/s²)
- torque — n.m, kgf.m, lbfft, lbfin
Why these three: LLMs frequently conflate the three different horsepower definitions (mechanical 745.7 W vs metric 735.5 W vs electric 746 W — a 1.4% silent error) and treat lbf/kgf as mass. Now 17 categories, still zero runtime dependencies and pure arithmetic.
Symbol disambiguation in this release: typed kn resolves to knot (speed) — use kilonewton for kN; nm stays nanometer, torque newton meter is n.m.
