No sound via Mic-in on MBPro / OS X

Hi,

We have an issue on a MacBook Pro 13, latest OS, SL stand alone version.

SL does receive audio from a caller, but does not receive any audio input from the local machine (neither Headeset nor built-in mic). Systemprefs/audio though does show, that the system receives input from the mic, it´s just not routed through to SL it seems.

Hi Philip,

thanks for report. And a USB mic works? Or unable to test on this device? In the next version I will prepare a way to select the devices directly from the standalone app. In the meantime it could help to add the devices to a aggregated device.

We had no USB mic. Why would an aggregated device help?

I made the observation that some audio devices work with this workaround, maybe the built-in mic is one of these too. If not than its a new bug.

Doesn´t work with USB-Mic (Rode Podcaster) ether.

Another thing to look at: The selected device samplerate (audio-MIDI-setup) must match 48kHz.
