A restyle of the web client: same single page, same flow, no new features.

Merge order: this branch includes #15 (feat/society-votes, which now also contains main with #16) and #17 (fix/removed-keys), because they all rewrite the same client files. Merge #15, then #17, then this PR. Do not merge before the prize deadline (24 Oct, 14:47 UTC).

Changes (src/web/ only)

  • Tokens and type: Linear dark values (surface ladder #08090a / #0f1011 / #191a1b, semi-transparent white borders, indigo accent #5e6ad2 / #7170ff, 6 to 12px radius, tighter type scale), mapped onto the existing CSS variables. System font stack only; the page still loads nothing from any other host. Inline SVG for the logo and warning icon.
  • Order: sticky top bar (name, node status, FID), then compose, then the feed. Society, "Node and checks" and "Your app key" follow as quieter sections with a divider, not cards.
  • Feed: cast rows with avatar, name, handle, time and app on one line; borderless action row with a clear pressed state; tidier images and links. New empty state ("No casts yet for FID N.") and a loading state that keeps the old casts dimmed instead of jumping.
  • Copy: one short line visible per section; the rest is behind small "Why?" / "How does this work?" toggles. "What's happening?" is now "Write a cast". Shorter labels where it stays clear ("Save", "Add").
  • First run: with no node behind the page, a calm card says what Outpost is and the two ways in (invite link, or ./outpost client on your own server), with a button that opens "Node and checks". The node pill says "no node". Red is left for real errors.
  • Sign-in ("Post from Outpost", from Post from Outpost: clear login, fast no-account error, sponsored accounts #16): the four choices become an option list with a clear selected state. The Farcaster-app, create-account (sponsor offer) and new-phrase steps sit under a divider. The longer intro moves behind "How does posting work?". The recovery-phrase warning and the 12-word warning keep their wording and their red box, with a warning icon added.
  • Phone top bar: stays one line; a long node name shortens with "…".
  • Guideline fixes (Vercel Web Interface Guidelines): scroll padding under the sticky bar, … characters, explicit select colours, skip link, prefers-reduced-motion.
  • Logic touched in app.ts: only the no-node branch of checkNode (shows the card instead of a red status line), the feed empty and loading markup, and copy. No change to checks, signing, keys, storage or network code.

Checks

# Check Result
1 npm run typecheck, npm test (113 pass, 0 fail), npm run build PASS
2 Every id app.ts looks up exists in index.html PASS (none missing)
3 dist/web loads only its own origin (grep: only the SVG namespace and input placeholders; demo network log: only 127.0.0.1) PASS
4 Demo at 390px and 1280px: feed, compose, sign-in choices and steps, society with the open proposal, votes; no horizontal scroll PASS (the old page overflowed at 390px: 443px)
5 No node, clean profile: calm first-run card, no red PASS
6 Keyboard: Tab reaches every control in page order, visible 2px focus ring on each PASS
7 Recovery-phrase and 12-word warnings present, same meaning PASS (text unchanged; 12-word step reached with a faked /sponsor/status in the browser only)

Checks were run by me and again by a separate verifier that saw only the request and the checks; it also reported PASS on all 7, on the final state.

Not done, noted: "Load more" still shows when every cast is already loaded (logic, out of scope). Title Case and curly quotes from the guidelines were not applied (plain sentence case was asked for).

A proposal is a member's cast naming the charter's current head and the
changes (+/- member, +/- moderator, as signed mentions). An approval is a
member's like, from any app; once seen it counts for good. It passes when
more than half of that version's members approve; leaving needs only your
own. The charter becomes an append-only log of the founder's charter plus
each passed proposal with its signed likes, so anyone can replay it from
their own node. No deadlines: author timestamps can be backdated.

- core: votes.ts (format, parser, replay, tally, advance, compareLogs,
propose, announce); Verifier.voteKey checks key ownership and gasless
key scopes; likesByCast and repliesTo; buildCast takes mentions and
sends casts over 320 bytes as LONG_CAST (fixes 321-1024 byte casts)
- CLI: charter proposals | propose | announce | import; verify replays logs
- web: Votes section in the Society card
- docs: README "Society votes", TRUST.md "What a society vote proves"
- tests: 20 new (90 total), fake node world and a local demo

census, feed, join, proposals, propose and announce accepted any log
that replayed, including one whose majority rests on approvals with keys
no node lists, as a hand-made log with made-up keys would have. A forged
log could then change the member list (and join would follow it). They
now refuse such a version unless --trust-unrecountable is given, as
import already did, and charter verify exits 1 for it. The web client
already asks before using such a log.

The site lists votes under what is different, explains them in the
societies step with the three commands, and adds a known gap: votes have
not run on mainnet yet. AGENTS.md gains the property that a charter
changes only by a majority of its members' likes.

Since Snapchain engine V14 a removed key's earlier messages stay on the
network, but the client treated them as forgeries: every cast signed by a
key revoked since (with ./outpost uninstall, for one) was reported as
"signed by a key that is not the author's".

- onchain key removed since: shown, marked "key revoked since" (Optimism
  shows it was the author's)
- gasless key the second node does not list: held back and counted as
"not listed: revoked since, or not the author's", not as a failure,
because the HTTP API cannot tell the two apart
- a key the node calls onchain that Optimism does not list: still dropped

Message checks now accept only 0x lower-case hex (hash, signer, cast ids)
and canonical base64 signatures. Null fields stay ignored, with the
reason at extraField. README states the limits.

System fonts only, no request to any other host. Compose, then feed, then
Society, Node and checks, and Your app key as quieter sections. Long
explanations move behind small "Why?" toggles; the recovery-phrase
warning stays in full.

With no node behind the page, show how to get one instead of a red error.
The feed says when there are no casts, and keeps old casts dimmed while
loading so the page does not jump.

Scroll padding so the sticky bar never covers a focused field, ellipsis
characters, explicit select colours, balanced headings.

The four choices become an option list with a clear selected state; the
Farcaster-app, create-account and new-phrase steps sit under a divider.
The 12-word warning gets the same red box and icon as the phrase warning.
The longer intro moves behind "How does posting work?". On a phone the
node pill shortens so the top bar stays one line.
