ROFS-8 ROFS-8 is the topology of Single Semantic Responsibility (SSR). SSR defines what each dimension is responsible for. ROFS-8 defines how those dimensions relate and interact. Single Semantic Responsibility

  1. Human — defines Agency.
  2. Machine — defines Capability.
  3. Material — defines Resource.
  4. Method — defines Transformation.
  5. Environment — defines Context.
  6. Measurement — defines Verification.
  7. Epoch — defines Evolution.
  8. End-state — defines Purpose. Dimensions remain orthogonal. Interaction is governed by topology. Derivation is governed by specification. Four Layers Layer 0 — Foundation What is the system? Defines the core premise, semantic boundary, and the relationship between SSR and ROFS-8.

Layer 1 — Boundary What am I responsible for? Defines the semantic responsibility and boundary of each dimension. Each dimension defines its own essential focus without assuming or occupying another dimension's responsibility. Boundary. Static. Binary.

Layer 2 — Topology What is my relationship with the others? Defines the possible relationships, interactions, tensions, dependencies, and connections among dimensions. Topology. Dynamic. Multiple configurations are possible.

Layer 3 — Operation How do these relationships operate? Defines how a topology is instantiated, transformed, and tested through interaction with reality. Operation. Emergent. Reality-bound.

Core Principle Define the boundaries first. Map the relationships second. Validate the operation in reality third.
