I live in Dubai. When the US-Israeli strikes on Iran started and debris began falling over the UAE, the information was scattered - across Twitter threads, WhatsApp forwards, and news sites with conflicting updates. I wanted one place that had everything: what's happening, what to do, and who to call.
So I built this over a weekend. A simple, fast crisis explainer for anyone living in the Gulf who just wants clear answers.
Situation - Live updates, attack timeline, casualty tracking, Iran's position, UAE's response, and the background context that led here.
Practical - Flight status (DXB/AUH), shelter locations, supply checklists, evacuation routes, and what to expect with markets and oil prices.
Resources - Emergency numbers (police, ambulance, civil defense), embassy contacts for multiple nationalities, and official information sources.
- Framework: Next.js (App Router)
- Language: TypeScript
