🎮 Rock Paper Scissors Game (Python)

A simple command-line Rock, Paper, Scissors game built using Python. This project demonstrates core Python programming concepts such as loops, conditionals, user input, randomization, and input validation.

🚀 Features

  • Play against the computer
  • Random computer moves using Python's random module
  • Input validation for incorrect choices
  • Score tracking for both player and computer
  • Option to play multiple rounds
  • Beginner-friendly and easy to understand

🛠️ Technologies Used

  • Python 3
  • Built-in random module

📚 Concepts Practiced

  • Variables
  • Lists
  • User Input
  • Conditional Statements (if, elif, else)
  • while Loops
  • Functions from Python Standard Library
  • String Methods (lower(), strip())
  • Input Validation
  • Score Tracking

▶️ How to Run

  1. Clone this repository.
  2. Open a terminal in the project folder.
  3. Run:
python rock_paper_scissors.py

📷 Sample Output

  • Difficulty levels
  • Match statistics
  • Graphical User Interface (Tkinter or Pygame)
  • Sound effects and animations
  • Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) version

🎯 Learning Outcome

This project strengthened my understanding of Python fundamentals by implementing game logic, validating user input, using loops for repeated gameplay, generating random computer moves, and maintaining scores across multiple rounds.
