[Good First Issue]: Display 'License' filter dropdown in the web directory header #30
Add an optional dropdown filter in the filter bar to filter tools specifically by license (e.g. MIT, Apache-2.0, GPL-3.0, BSD-3-Clause).
Difficulty Level
🟡 Intermediate (JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS/Tailwind, or Node.js scripts)
Context & Background
Enterprise engineers and commercial developers often need to filter tools strictly by permissive licenses (MIT / Apache-2.0). Adding a license filter pill or select dropdown makes DevShelf corporate-friendly.
Suggested Steps to Complete
Review site/app.js and site/index.html.
Extract all unique licenses from allResources dynamically during boot().
Add a license filter tag group or dropdown select.
Filter matching resources in the render() function.
Relevant Files / Pointers
site/app.js, site/index.html
