Installation
The specifications are highly dependant on the number and size of containers that will run on your CargOS host. At a bare minimum the following are required for a CargOS host:
- 1 CPU (no specific requirements regarding CPU flags or extensions)
- 128 MB memory to load and run the base system
The CargOS system is never installed to disk like a traditional system. The disk is only used to store the CargOS image, bootloader and modified configuration files for /etc is union mounted. Therefore the disk size requirements are very minimal and the only factor in deciding on storage is what resources are needed by the containers.
