The System packages update leaves Docker alone and shows it on a line of its own (CasaOS v0.4.65 and CasaOS-UI v0.4.79): updating docker-ce or containerd.io restarts the Docker daemon and stops every container until it is back, and that update did it unannounced. It installs the explicit list its check shows, minus Docker's, after a simulation of that list; the unit simulates it again right before installing. A ReCasaOS update, a package update and a package manager holding dpkg's lock hold each other off. Measured by the harness merged in #15 and #16 (run 37819769398: Docker 28.5.2 untouched with the 29 on offer, dockerd's pid unchanged, 22 to 24 other packages upgraded, no container interrupted).
The install check asks System packages for its list on every system and requires that Docker has its line and none of its packages is in the list. CHANGELOG, README and the pins say the rest.
