Monthly Report Review Input

Use this file as the primary review input for the monthly upstream release package.

Bundle metadata

  • Artifact name: monthly-report-2026-06-01
  • Report month: 2026-06
  • As-of date: 2026-06-01
  • Version / mode: 2026-06-01-core_major / core_major
  • Pool size: 5
  • Symbols: TRXUSDT, DOGEUSDT, XRPUSDT, LTCUSDT, LINKUSDT

Review intent

  • This is an upstream selector review for CryptoSnapshotPipelines, not a downstream execution report.
  • The main question is whether the current monthly 5-symbol pool still looks like a sound production selector output, and what additional research evidence is still missing.
  • Shadow / challenger coverage should be used for strategy-optimization judgment when available. If missing, treat optimization evidence as incomplete rather than forcing a strong conclusion.
  • Downstream BinancePlatform consumes this pool monthly and then applies its own execution logic on top.

Strategy review questions

  1. Does the official pool look internally consistent with the ranking preview and release metadata?
  2. Are score spread and selected symbols reasonable for a Binance Spot mainstream leader selector?
  3. Is shadow / challenger evidence present, and if not, what is the highest-value missing comparison?
  4. What are the most useful next low-risk research directions before changing production selector logic?

    Release Consistency

    • The official release is internally consistent: status is ok, validation passed, manifest files are present, and the as-of date matches the monthly snapshot (2026-06-01).
    • The selected pool matches the ranking preview exactly: TRXUSDT, DOGEUSDT, XRPUSDT, LTCUSDT, LINKUSDT.
    • Score ordering is coherent for the selected top-5, with a visible drop from the top two to the rest; however, the lower end is clustered (LTCUSDT and LINKUSDT both at 0.583333), so tie sensitivity should be kept in mind.

    Evidence Gaps

    • Shadow/challenger coverage is present at a metadata level (official_baseline, challenger_topk_60), but the report does not include the actual comparison results, rank deltas, or performance/selection deltas.
    • Missing is the highest-value evidence for this review: a monthly side-by-side of official vs. challenger outputs on the same universe, including overlap, turnover, and any stability or regime notes.
    • The issue also lacks explicit explanation of why these five symbols were chosen beyond ranking position, which limits interpretability for a snapshot-only approval.

    Downstream Impact

    • BinancePlatform will consume this pool monthly, so consistency and timeliness are the main operational concerns here.
    • Based on this snapshot alone, there is no sign of release-format risk or manifest mismatch that would block downstream ingestion.
    • Since the selected pool is concentrated in mainstream large-liquidity names, downstream execution logic should remain the primary guardrail; no production selector change is justified from this snapshot alone.

    Operator Action Items

    • Confirm the shadow build package is generated and attached before any governance decision.
    • Produce a compact official-vs-challenger comparison table for the same month: overlap, rank differences, and turnover.
    • Verify live_pool.json, release_manifest.json, and track_summary.csv are all month-aligned.
    • If the tie at the selection boundary matters, document whether score precision or deterministic tie-breaking rules are stable across runs.

    • 虽然元数据里有 shadow/challenger 覆盖(official_baseline、challenger_topk_60),但报告没有给出实际对比结果、名次差异或表现/选股差异。

    • 核对 live_pool.json、release_manifest.json 与 track_summary.csv 是否同月对齐。

    Release Consistency

The 2026-06-01 release artifact appears internally consistent across all available signals.

    • The official pool (5 symbols) matches the ranking preview exactly: TRXUSDT, DOGEUSDT, XRPUSDT, LTCUSDT, LINKUSDT in rank order.
    • The ranking preview draws cleanly from the 12-symbol universe, selecting the top-5 by score with no rank/selection mismatches.
    • Score spread is reasonable for a baseline_blended_rank profile. The top two symbols (TRX: 0.9167, DOGE: 0.8750) are well-separated from the cluster at positions 3–5. Positions 4 and 5 (LTCUSDT and LINKUSDT) share a tied score of 0.5833; the tiebreak ordering should be confirmed as deterministic in the pipeline source, but this is a low-severity observation and does not affect pool composition.
    • Version string (2026-06-01-core_major), mode (core_major), artifact contract (crypto_leader_rotation.live_pool.v1), Firestore target, and release prefix are mutually consistent.
    • Validation flags are clean: ok=True, manifest_present=True, artifact_manifest_present=True, age_days=0, no errors, no warnings.
    • Release history depth is healthy: both official_baseline and challenger_topk_60 tracks show 57 releases each, spanning 2021-05-31 through 2026-06-01, indicating no coverage gap for this month.

    Evidence Gaps

    1. Shadow / challenger pool composition is not disclosed. The challenger_topk_60 track is confirmed present with matching release count, but no ranking rows or symbol list for that track are surfaced in this report. It is therefore not possible to determine whether the challenger pool diverges from the official pool, or by how much. Optimization evidence is incomplete by the review framework's own standard. This is the highest-value missing comparison.
    2. Tie resolution logic at rank 4–5 is undocumented in this artifact. LTCUSDT and LINKUSDT share score 0.5833. The report does not confirm whether secondary sort criteria (e.g., liquidity, symbol-level stability, alphabetical fallback) are applied. If the pipeline uses a non-deterministic tie-break, reproducibility of the pool boundary could vary across reruns.
    3. The 7 unselected symbols from the 12-symbol universe are not shown. Knowing the score of rank 6 would confirm the selection margin above the cut line. A tight margin at the boundary warrants closer monitoring.
    4. No lookback performance or drawdown context is included. This is expected for a selector-only report, but means no within-report validation of score predictive quality is possible.
    5. make monthly-shadow-build confirmation status is not recorded. The operator checklist flags this as a required pre-step; no completion note appears in the issue.

    Downstream Impact

    • BinancePlatform will receive the same 5-symbol pool as last month if this pool is unchanged from 2026-05. Pool continuity itself is not visible from this report alone and should not be assumed.
    • The tie at positions 4–5 means downstream execution logic applied to LTCUSDT vs. LINKUSDT rests on a thin selector margin. BinancePlatform teams should be aware that a small score movement next month could rotate one of these two symbols out.
    • No validation errors or warnings were raised, so there is no immediate pipeline-level blocker for downstream consumption.
    • The dry_run=False and publish_enabled=True flags confirm the pool has been published to both the release prefix and the Firestore live target. Downstream consumers relying on either path should already have access to the current pool.

    Operator Action Items

    1. Low risk / this cycle: Confirm that live_pool.json, release_manifest.json, and track_summary.csv (if generated) all reference 2026-06-01, per checklist item 2.
    2. Low risk / this cycle: Record the completion status of make monthly-shadow-build in the issue thread so the audit trail is complete.
    3. Low risk / this cycle: Surface the challenger_topk_60 symbol list and score preview for this month's release and note any divergence from the official pool. This does not require a production change—it is an evidence-completeness step.
    4. Low risk / this cycle: Document the tiebreak rule used at rank 4–5 (LTCUSDT vs. LINKUSDT). Confirm it is deterministic and add it to the artifact metadata or pipeline documentation.
    5. Monitoring / next cycle: Track rank-6 score from the 12-symbol universe to quantify the margin above the cut line. If the gap narrows, flag for heightened review in the 2026-07 snapshot.
    6. Do not change production selector logic based on this single monthly snapshot alone.

    • 评分分布对于 baseline_blended_rank 配置文件而言合理。

    1. 挑战者(challenger_topk_60)资产池组成未披露。

    1. 低风险 / 本周期: 确认 live_pool.json、release_manifest.json 及 track_summary.csv(若已生成)均引用 2026-06-01,对应检查清单第 2 项。

    Codex Audit

    Verdict

Review-only audit completed from the provided repository snapshot and monthly issue context. I found release/reporting identity mismatches that should be treated as actionable operational findings before relying on this June package as a clean production audit trail.

    Findings

    1. High: June monthly report uses stale artifact identity and publish target.
The issue is for QuantStrategyLab/CryptoLivePoolPipelines, but the report says source_project: crypto-leader-rotation, artifact contract crypto_leader_rotation.live_pool.v1, GCS prefix crypto-leader-rotation/..., and Firestore document CRYPTO_LEADER_ROTATION_LIVE_POOL. Current repo docs/config expect crypto-live-pool-pipelines, crypto_live_pool_rotation.live_pool.v1, and CRYPTO_LIVE_POOL_ROTATION_LIVE_POOL. This can make downstream consumers read a different namespace than the one actually published.

    2. Medium: Monthly automation evidence points at the wrong/stale repository identity.
The bot comment says the self-hosted Codex path attempted to push to QuantStrategyLab/CryptoSnapshotPipelines.git, while this audit input identifies the source repo as QuantStrategyLab/CryptoLivePoolPipelines. That is a workflow/audit provenance defect, even though fallback API reviews ran.

    3. Low: The issue body contains stale product/report naming.
The review intent and Telegram preview refer to CryptoSnapshotPipelines, not CryptoLivePoolPipelines. This does not change the selected symbols, but it weakens operator traceability and should not be present in a release package.

    Changes Made

None. Mode is review_only, and the environment is read-only.

    Verification

Local command execution was blocked before repository commands could run: bwrap: loopback: Failed RTM_NEWADDR: Operation not permitted. No tests or syntax checks were executed.

I reviewed the provided snapshot of the relevant monthly issue, workflow, report generation, release contract, publishing, Telegram, and focused test files.

    Residual Risk

Current source snapshot appears to contain newer fixes for monthly review evidence, naming, and contract defaults, and the issue comment says PR #77 was merged with passing CI. Still, the actual June issue evidence shows the generated release package used stale namespaces. A human operator should confirm the real GCS/Firestore objects for 2026-06-01-core_major and downstream BinancePlatform read path before treating this release as fully reconciled.
