What happened?

Last one for the day i promise, but wanting to make your life easier i decided to click 'enable crash report plugin' in settings, and got this message:

I really want to help by submitting better reports of crashes (i have a feeling a few i found will require passing all my logs to you), but dont' know how to turn this on :)

What did you expect?

for it to install :)

none, tailing the log shows nothing

Fixed on dev branch and will be in next release v4.9.1:

Plugin errors now show the backend’s actual reason, such as an unsigned plugin, failed runtime validation, or entry-size rejection, instead of only HTTP 400.
