Problem or use case

RCC notifies the user with BIG RED DOTS of any activity on the channel, including leave/join announces. This leads my list of RCC rooms to be all on notification, all the time - given that it's very frequent to have people come and go. A good solution would be to give the user an option to 'mute join/leaves' - like on IRC

There's about 155 RCC listed on my announce, and while no one is expected to connect to all, having 20+ is I guess normal. Therefore, it would be great if Auto reconnect, Auto list rooms, and Auto list members options could be applied RCC wide and not just per host. Because clicking 20 hosts to change that very much wanted Auto list members inconvenient ;)

Fixed on dev branch and will be in next release v4.9.1:

• Unread notifications: Notices such as auto-WHO replies, room lists, and MOTD lines no longer mark rooms as unread. Errors still trigger the unread indicator.
• Join and part messages: These now include explicit event metadata. A new per-identity chat setting lets users hide join and part messages, including those in paginated history. This is local only and requires no protocol changes.
• Hub settings: Added an option to apply auto-reconnect, auto list, and auto WHO settings to all hubs, backed by the new bulk /rrc/hubs/options endpoint.
