The Purgatoria GitHub Organization was established to enable the Purgatoria Community to collaborate through a more integrated and optimized approach.
By migrating our collaboration infrastructures to GitHub, we aim to make these processes more transparent, standardized, sustainable, and open to collaboration.
Our primary focus is on building communication infrastructure and maintaining ad-hoc systems in a state of readiness for high-stakes environments, particularly disaster relief and emergency response. To support this, we adopt, integrate, and actively contribute to open-source projects that meet the reliability demands of these fields.
Beyond the technical work, we believe knowledge should be accessible to everyone. We produce documentation and educational material in Turkish, Chinese, and English, and we provide our members with a solid grounding in fundamentals of RF communication.
By the very nature of Ham Radio, we reach a wide variety of people from all over the world, regardless of age or background. In this context, if you’re familiar with how this platform works, you can contribute here; but even if you’re not, that’s perfectly fine.
You can join our other community channels and get help from our knowledgeable friends about GitHub. After all, we become a community by filling in each other’s shortcomings and there's always room for one more friend.
