Problem or objective

  • Document how Promptless supports Doc Detective for doc collections.
  • Explain how the feature implements the Docs as Tests framework.
  • Give users a public docs URL for setup, behavior, and CI failure handling.

Solution

  • Added a new Doc Detective Integration docs page under Configuring Promptless > Doc Collections.
  • Linked the existing Doc Detective settings mention from the GitHub Repos (Docs as Code) page to the new page.
  • Updated generated sidebar and route manifest entries so the page is navigable and available at /docs/configuring-promptless/doc-collections/doc-detective-integration.

Design choices

  • Kept Doc Detective under doc collection configuration rather than the main integrations list, matching the product model.
  • Grounded the behavior section in the runtime implementation: collection settings, generated working notes, injected skill, plugin enablement, and CI follow-on handling.
  • Preserved unrelated untracked local files and excluded them from the commit.

Validation

  • npm run generate:manifest
  • npm run check
