Recent versions of MyST seem to have changed how the badges are displayed under the Cookbook title on the landing page, e.g. here.
Rather than neatly tucked in one horizontal line under the title as they appear on the README page on GitHub, the badges are centered on the page and stacked vertically.
I made some attempts to fix this in Foundations using MyST grid directives but didn't find a solution (and ended up just removing the badges from that landing page), see ProjectPythia/pythia-foundations#598.
Desired behavior: The landing page image and badges should look the same in the rendered book as they do when the README is viewed on GitHub. (It is the same README.md file in both cases)
