SEEDbox is an Ansible-based, Docker containerized cloud media server, built around Traefik and Homer, secured by Cloudflare and CrowdSec. This wiki covers the parts of the setup that live outside the playbook, and documents what the roles configure for you once they run.
- settings.yml - every variable, and the ones you must change before the first run
- Folder structure - the data tree, hardlinks and per-service paths
- Authentication - Authelia, and which applications are not behind it
- Autoconfiguration - what the roles set up for you, and what they leave to you
- Applications - images, tags and architectures for every service
- Homer matrix - dashboard groups and ordering
- Seedbox and API compliance matrix - private-tracker seedbox-notice rules and Prowlarr API query/grab limits
- Utils - host cleanup tasks
Read the prerequisites in order, then settings.yml before running the playbook for the first time. The must change before the first run table is the shortest path to a working deploy.
