Playa AI is a philanthropic initiative fiscally sponsored by Mystic Arts Foundation, a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity. We convene communities, test human-centered AI experiences, apply EELP and Living Trust safeguards, and publish what the field teaches.

- Culture before scale — technical systems inherit the values of the communities that shape them.
- Consent before capture — participation, disclosure, data minimization, and human override belong in the design.
- Public learning — pilots should produce methods, field notes, safeguards, and honest accounts of what did not work.
- Status clarity — working drafts, research candidates, and active software are labeled as such.
