What

#78 rewrote the V4 Flash alias block and dropped deepseek/deepseek/deepseek-v4-flash, a spelling that appears in production traffic (V4 Pro kept its deepseek/deepseek/deepseek-v4-pro). The internal app's production-spellings test caught it when its pin moved to 0.2.52.

The spelling returns under provider deepseek with the same dating as deepseek-v4-flash: deepseek/v4-flash from 2026-04-24 until DeepSeek's 2026-09-10 change, deepseek/deepseek-v4.1-flash after. Version 0.2.53 (pyproject.toml and the release gate's expected version).

Evidence

  • core/tests: 831 passed, the package release gate included.
  • Priced by hand: 1M in and 1M out on the spelling is $0.42 on 2026-08-01 (V4 Flash) and $0.75 on 2026-09-18 (V4.1 Flash), the same as deepseek-v4-flash on those dates.

#78 rewrote the V4 Flash alias block and dropped
`deepseek/deepseek/deepseek-v4-flash`, a spelling production traffic
carries (V4 Pro kept its counterpart). It returns with the same dating as
`deepseek-v4-flash`: V4 Flash until DeepSeek's 2026-09-10 change, V4.1
Flash after. Version 0.2.53.

* Route Claude Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5 through the AI Gateway

Both are priced on the gateway but had no route, so a workload whose
current model is either could not be replayed (no route on
'vercel-ai-gateway') and neither could be picked as a candidate.
Registry 2026-10-06; metergraph-core 0.2.53.

* Bump metergraph-core to 0.2.54

0.2.53 was taken by the DeepSeek V4 Flash alias fix (#103).
