I reviewed the current v1.3.6 source for catalog publishing. The runtime plugin is sandboxed and its declared loopback endpoint is appropriately limited, but the catalog ZIP intentionally contains only the manifest, entry point, declared assets, locales, and license. It does not include package.json, scripts/, or sidecar/.

That means a catalog install cannot run npm run install-sidecar, so the advertised GPU/SSD metrics sidecar is unavailable. Please provide a catalog-compatible package/release (for example, package the required sidecar through a supported install flow, or publish an explicitly CPU/RAM-only catalog variant). I will publish it once that is ready.

I kept the GPU/storage direction, but moved it to a catalog-compatible host capability instead of a persistent local sidecar.

• OpenPets host/SDK PR: https://github.com/alvinunreal/openpets/pull/172 — optional, aggregate GPU and system-volume metrics through the existing system:metrics permission, with bounded host-owned probes.
• Plugin PR: feat: use host GPU and disk metrics karimbouwmans/Openpets-system-resources#1 — consumes those fields, removes the loopback listener/installers and network permissions, and retains a CPU/RAM fallback where the host does not expose an extended metric.

The plugin change is ready for review; I will publish the catalog update after the host support is merged and available.

Released System Resources v1.4.0 to the OpenPets community catalog. It is available at https://openpets.dev/plugins and in OpenPets → Plugins, with CPU/RAM monitoring working without any OpenPets runtime change.

The GPU/system-volume follow-up remains planned through https://github.com/alvinunreal/openpets/pull/172 and karimbouwmans/Openpets-system-resources#1. That update removes the persistent sidecar/network dependency and will be published after the host support is merged and available.
