Summary

  • Tell the student, including a screen reader, when a recording is waiting for the sensor's first reading, and return to Ready if they stop before any sample arrives.
  • A USB probe that never samples is connected but not offered as a recording source.
  • Extend velocity and acceleration one sample at a time instead of rebuilding the whole trace on every sample.

Test plan

  • vitest run tests/common/model/MotionSensorModel.test.ts tests/common/model/SensorPositionSource.test.ts (40 passed)
  • Pre-push npm run lint and npm run check

Made with Cursor

An out-of-range sensor used to sit at 0.0 s under Stop, and stopping before any sample left an empty trace. Velocity and acceleration are now extended one sample at a time.
