[Translation] Simplified Chinese translation for ASVS 5.0

Hi team, I’m starting the Simplified Chinese translation for ASVS 5.0.

I plan to follow the official structure and create a new zh-CN/ folder under 5.0/.

To avoid duplication and promote collaboration, I’ll publish progress here and welcome anyone interested in contributing.

I will submit a PR when the first version is complete.

Thanks @d2ogg although note that in 4.0 the zh-cn was all lowercase wherever it was used.

(FWIW "zh-CN", is aligned with the recommendations wrt case of language codes.)

Hi @d2ogg , just to emphasise to make sure you base your translation on the v5.0.0 branch and open a pull request against that branch.

The Simplified Chinese translation is complete, but we would appreciate confirmation of the correct target branch before reopening the PR.

The translation was manually reviewed against the English files from master (source commit 881c8b8de4e1d0d985c45323bf473298351c39b1). Those files include post-v5.0.0 corrections that are absent from the frozen v5.0.0 branch.

I initially adapted the translation to the older v5.0.0 content in #3407 because the translation guide asks contributors to target that branch. I closed that PR after noticing that this adaptation no longer matched the source that had been reviewed. A corrected branch based on the latest master is ready at:

It passes the repository translation validator for all 27 Markdown files and the pinned Markdown linter.

Would you prefer that we open the translation PR against master to preserve the current English corrections, or rebase it onto v5.0.0 and translate the frozen release text exactly? We will follow the maintainers' preference.

Update: I found the maintainer clarification in #3386: translations should be rebased specifically onto v5.0.0 and submitted as a single PR. We will follow that process, so #3407 has been reopened against v5.0.0. Thank you.
