Summary

Allow portal users to participate in native Discuss channels to which an
internal user has added their partner.

Scope

• Reuse native discuss.channel.member membership.
• Expose only authorized channels to portal users.
• Allow portal users to read and post messages.
• Keep channel and member administration restricted to internal users.
• Reuse the native Discuss interface from the portal.

Security

Portal users cannot:

• create channels;
• modify channels;
• add or remove members;
• invite users;
• access channels where they are not members;
• access the backend Discuss interface.
