Adobe's KA-41939 says /oak:index/diff.index needs a different wrapper depending on the target environment:

  • Cloud Manager: nt:unstructured with type="lucene", and includedPaths/queryPaths set to a path that doesn't exist (e.g. /same).
  • Local SDK / RDE: oak:QueryIndexDefinition with type="disabled". Per the KB, this shape fails Cloud Manager builds.

Right now the validator never checks the Cloud Manager wrapper. It also accepts the local wrapper unconditionally (#50).
