Summary of Changes

• Replaced exit(1) with sys.exit(1) in src/monitor.py.
• Allowed configurable retry count and delay in get_local_ip() (max_retries, retry_delay).
• Patched time.sleep and sys.exit in test_additional.py, test_integration.py, and tests.py.
• Fixes Use sys.exit(1) instead of built-in exit(1) #7 and fixes Unit test suite takes 16+ minutes due to real-time sleeps in retry loops #8.

Test Results

The test suite now finishes in ~0.2 seconds (reduced from 16+ minutes) with all 18 unit tests passing:
