Create a host-only Cargo workspace that specializes selected CUB forms through NVRTC and reports exact scratch layouts with their LTO output. Connects the native cooperative provider to ordinary Oxide compilation through a Cargo build-script adapter. It serves batched LTO-IR specializations, typed ABI and exact scratch layouts, and declares header/toolkit inputs for Cargo freshness tracking. The existing three-crate fixture exercises generic dependency discovery and Direct/Transpose Load/Store.
Depends on #12088 and Oxide #1566. R02 remains an independent sibling. Focused provider-adapter diff. This compatibility update carries the stable workspace toolchain and fixture guidance; adapter and fixture bodies are unchanged. GitHub’s Files changed includes prerequisites while this PR targets main; use the focused diff above.
Host tests, provider MSRV 1.85, strict Clippy/rustdoc, formatting and Rust guide pass. The internal unsafe fixture builds in its original release profile using the matching automatic backend. Qualification uses an evidence copy: four compiler dependencies select the current Git source, with a corresponding locked graph; Rust bodies and the local provider path stay unchanged. The legacy script’s compiler path patches/backend override were not used, and this is not a claim that the unmodified legacy runner passes.
Artifact inspection confirms five roots, sixteen native calls and the expected argument/scratch layouts. Historical binary identity is not claimed. The original 480-case GPU positive and memcheck/racecheck/synccheck pass. Current-head CI is separate.
