Introduces OpenShell Research with an Announcements Dev Note covering the team's mission, immediate research plans, commitment to open research, and invitation to apply. The copy matches the edited Google Doc, with a new subtitle and links to the platform announcement, research repository, and hiring page.
Highlights hiring in a compact “Join us” subsection inviting researchers and engineers who love to build and are passionate about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible through open research. The closing sentence invites readers to reach out and links “applying to join our team” directly to the application page. The Google Doc uses the same copy and a native section heading.
Adds matching light/dark hero images and thumbnails, plus a larger
>_ Hello, world!greeting with a green prompt that types in once when the page opens. Reduced-motion and print views show the complete greeting immediately. Regenerates the Dev Notes index, byline, and navigation.Gives the index's featured note more prominence with a larger headline, summary, and artwork, a green accent beside the featured label, and additional space before recent notes. The layout remains responsive and applies to whichever note is featured by the active filters.
Simplifies tags across all six notes to one metadata list: removes generic
openshellandagentstags, consolidatessecurityintoagent-security, and preservesruntime-and-harnessin the sandbox note's metadata. Removes decorative index tags and the separate card-tag metadata, renderer code, and CSS. Hides non-interactive article tag badges while retaining topic metadata for search. Authoring guidance documents the convention.Validation:
python3 tests/test_render_dev_notes.py— 11 passed.scripts/build-docs.sh— clean build and bundled checks passed.Hero artwork was generated with imagegen using the official OpenShell brand assets as a reference.
Final editorial review: copy and Google Doc match; announcement date and application destination verified; rendered article reviewed in both themes.
