Dev Notes now use metadata-generated article headers with consistent titles, subtitles, author bylines, and uncropped hero images. The index separates a spacious page introduction, author/category filters framed by dividers, and a larger featured note followed by a scrolling archive.
Readers can combine author and category filters, share filtered URLs, use browser Back/Forward, and navigate from article bylines. Categories are fixed to Announcements, Research, Case Studies, and Examples; invalid metadata fails generation before files are changed. Empty categories have an empty state, and the full index remains readable without JavaScript.
The site-wide visual review also fixes mobile footer overlap, breadcrumb clipping, narrow tables, navigation closing, keyboard skip links, and video playback. Authors supply metadata rather than manually formatting note headers; CI validates generated content and browser layouts.
Validation: clean documentation build and artifact checks; renderer and header tests; Chromium and WebKit coverage in both themes at five screen sizes, including filtering, history, refresh, byline navigation, and reading without JavaScript. Reviewed desktop/mobile screenshots and exercised navigation, search, code tabs/copying, transcripts, image links, and video playback.
