Minor · Maintainability & Code Quality · Quick win

Align the remaining README guidance with the deprecation notice.

The notice says the project is reference-only and discourages new production use. The README still calls Docker Compose the “recommended way to get started” and says “We invite contributions!”, which sends conflicting guidance. Update or qualify those sections as historical/reference-only. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
