The two Web acceptance jobs in run 36831027141 took 4m01s and 2m50s, including 210s and 140s in the acceptance step. Run four isolated matrix jobs to reduce the longest serial test partition. Derive the Playwright shard denominator from
strategy.job-totalso it stays aligned with the matrix. Each job retains its own fixture/Web servers and one Playwright worker. The existing Web unit/build dependency, failure artifacts, required gate and complete local suite stay unchanged. Update the maintainer guide to describe four shards.
Validation:
make check-ci check-docs: 45 CI tests and 19 documentation tests passed.git diff --checkpassed.Contributor guidance now explicitly requires only focused checks for the current diff and directly affected behaviors/consumers. Follow-up edits rerun only affected checks; a selected CI group does not require running its complete suite locally. Full validation remains available on explicit request and for release qualification. CI guidance no longer requires unrelated documentation, installer, Web and Core runs for every scheduling change.
