Book Management System

A menu-driven Java console application built to handle book records using raw file handling techniques without any databases or ORMs. The project demonstrates clean architecture by separating user interface logic from data storage operations. Features

Add Books: Safely append new book records to a text file without overwriting existing data.

View and Search: Read all saved books or find specific records by their unique ID.

Secure Backups: Generate exact byte-for-byte backups of the storage file.

Input Validation: Prevents application crashes by catching empty inputs and incorrect data types.

Technical Details

Language: Java

Architecture: Data Access Layer (DAL) pattern

File Handling: Uses FileInputStream and FileOutputStream for byte-oriented copying, and BufferedReader and FileWriter for character-oriented reading and writing.

Storage format: Comma-separated values in standard text files.
