• Edit biography, news, publications, education, and teaching in index.html.
• Edit the layout and colors in style.css.
• script.js highlights the current navigation section. All links work without JavaScript.
• Run python3 -m http.server 8765 --bind 127.0.0.1 in this directory, then visit http://127.0.0.1:8765/.

GitHub Pages serves the root of the main branch. A .nojekyll file keeps it buildless. Push changes to main to update the site.

Photo and publication figures

The profile photo is the supplied original, copied without rewriting or adding metadata. CSS frames a 720×900 region at approximately x=480, y=698 from the 1280×2812 source. The 4:5 head-and-shoulders composition places the eyes near 38% of the frame height, with the face slightly right of center and autumn scenery on the left. The same framing scales to desktop and mobile; the original face and expression are preserved.
