Modernized the user interface to emulate a Windows 10/11 appearance by introducing a lightweight Qt Style Sheet (style.qss) and applying it to the application. This approach meets constraints by requiring zero third-party packages, avoiding complex codebase changes, and keeping resource usage minimal while significantly updating the visual aesthetics.

PR created automatically by Jules for task 5080365563710237482 started by @MarcusStill

- Created `files/style.qss` containing flat styling and modern colors for
QApplication elements (buttons, inputs, tables, scrollbars, etc.).
- Loaded and applied `style.qss` onto the `QApplication` instance in `main.py`
to modernize the look while remaining lightweight.
- Kept native OS checkmark styling intact by avoiding indicator overrides.
