After a lengthy wait, were finally happy to bring you a new patch with several new maps, an increase to the item limit from 75 to 100, an improved inventory UI from the MSC alpha and more!

New Maps

  • Calrian ruins remake! (Calruin2) by Dehoth.
    Previous map is now known as calruin2_old.
  • Undermines! (undermines) by theoysterhippopotamus. (The boss is broken currently.)
  • Edanasewers remake! (Edanasewers) by Caluminium.
  • Lowlands remake! (Lowlands).
  • Old_Helena has been polished hopefully up to MSR standards.
    There will not be a "old_helena_old" map.

Map Updates

  • Idemarks_Tower.
    3d skybox now inherits the lighting from the time of day.
    Minor scaling adjustments.
  • Undercliffs.
    The boss room teleport is no longer random. You will now always teleport to a spot to access both sides of gauntlet room for the bonus chests.
  • Underpath.
    Numerous changes to brushwork and progression, variable difficulty depending on areas of the map cleared.
  • The_Keep.
    You can now see what boss you'll get in a window in the first courtyard when the 3 minibosses spawn.
    Let us know if the boss acts oddly when playing!
  • Gertenheld_Forest modifications.
    Moved cave transition to the cave area and changed previous transition to a Hemlock transition now.
    Fixed an entity limit crash.
  • Hemlock.
    Edited a transition to send you to Gertenheld_Forest now.
  • Helena.
    Lowlands transition added.

Improved Inventory UI

  • The MSC Alpha included an enhanced inventory UI that we have now implemented into MSR!
  • The UI will now scale better and display more icons on larger resolutions.
  • Equiped Items list displays more without the need to scroll down.
  • Arrows and Bolts can be split into stacks by right clicking.
  • Added the ability to sort items Alphabetically.
  • Updated several Inventory Icons.
  • Item Weight displayed on the bottom left tooltip of the Inventory when hovering over items.

General Fixes and Additions

  • You can no longer carry a Bag of Holding inside another Bag of Holding, we have posted several times in the Discord that this change was happening.
  • Increased the item limit a player can carry from 75 to 100.
  • Ice Shield targeting is now more reliable.
  • Bolts and Arrows weights adjusted.
  • Fixed not being able to loot smaller amounts of arrows/bolts from chests.
  • Maps rmines and fmines have been removed. (Replaced with undermine)
  • Demon Shield parry rating increased from 10 to 35.
  • Fixed Forsuth getting stuck following the player at the end of the_wall2.
  • Numerous grammatical fixes on item descriptions.
  • Refactored FN code to increase performance for servers.
  • General Script improvements and script performance increases.
  • Upper the amount of quickslots from 24 to 36.
  • Moved HUD up slightly so it does not block the text when cycling weapons/ammo/spells.
  • Dark Tomahwaks world model was corrected.
  • Webbing Spiders now make sounds.
  • Fixed several crashes

As always please remember were in a very early testing phase and with so many old scripts being changed and modified it is very likely to encounter crashes and problems! Please report any and all issues on the Discord!
