Summary

  • Traced the official MIT FutureTech PNG logo into SVG paths, producing four colour variants (default, on-light, on-dark, on-red) matching the AIRI variant set
  • SVGs live in skill/logos/futuretech/ — text is outlined as paths, no font dependency
  • Added section 5 ("Parent organisation logo") to the brand guide with font/colour details: ITC Bailey Sans Pro Book, MIT crimson #9A2030 for "FutureTech", black for "MIT" and tagline
  • Tracer script in dev/futuretech-logo-tracer/ for reproducibility

Things for Jess to check

  • Colour accuracy: the traced red is #9A2030 (measured from the PNG). Confirm this matches FutureTech's official crimson.
  • Trace quality: polygon-approximated outlines, not Bezier curves. Looks clean at practical sizes but worth checking at large scale.
  • Placement in the guide: added as section 5, after sub-project lockups and before open questions. Framed as a convenience inclusion, not an AIRI brand element.
  • Co-branding guidance: the note says to place the FutureTech logo separately from the AIRI lockup. Is this the right rule?

Test plan

  • Open guide/index.html locally and verify all four FutureTech variants render
  • Check the live guide at https://labs.aksaeri.com/airi/brand/ — section 5 should show the FutureTech logos
  • Zoom to 200%+ on the SVGs to assess trace quality at large sizes

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Traced the official MIT FutureTech PNG into outlined SVG paths, separated
into black ("MIT" + tagline) and crimson (#9A2030) "FutureTech" regions.
Four variants: default, on-light, on-dark, on-red — matching the AIRI
logo variant set. Added section 5 to the brand guide with font/colour
details and all four variants displayed. Tracer script in dev/ for
reproducibility.

Personally I wouldn't check all that stuff directly you can just inspect the colours and see if it's consistent with ft logo
