Two small things.

tools/github.sh refused an empty path along with everything else that did not
begin with a slash, but an empty path is the useful way to ask about the
repository itself - its description, its topics, whether Discussions are on. It
now means exactly that and nothing looser.

.claude/settings.json carries the one permission rule that makes the helper
usable without a prompt. It is checked in rather than kept on one machine
because it is a decision about this project - which single command an assistant
may run unattended - and a decision like that should be readable by anyone
looking at the repository.

The helper is still fixed at everything except a method, a path under this one
repository, and a body: no other host, no other repository, no other credential.

An empty path now means the repository, which is what you want for reading its
description and topics; it was refused along with everything else that did not
begin with a slash.

.claude/settings.json carries the one permission rule that makes tools/github.sh
usable without a prompt. It is checked in rather than kept locally because it is
a decision about this project - which single command an assistant may run
unattended - and that decision should be visible to anyone reading the
repository rather than living in one machine's settings.
