Summary

  • Clarify that contributors can start available, unblocked LibreSign issues without waiting for a comment reply, maintainer approval, or assignment.
  • Keep coordination optional and brief, while recommending checks for ongoing work and discussion of unclear scope.
  • Align the core create-issues-and-epics instructions and its quality reference without introducing a new issue template or extra boilerplate.

Validation

  • Reviewed the branch comparison: only two existing guidance paragraphs changed, one in each file.
  • Verified the commit's cryptographic signature and matching DCO sign-off.
  • Repository unit tests and reuse lint have not been run locally; the existing GitHub Actions checks should validate this documentation-only change.
