Inventory & Coverage opens RI Exchange by default; should default to Active Commitments #751
Clicking "Inventory & Coverage" in the sidebar opens the RI Exchange sub-tab by default. It should open the Active Commitments sub-tab first.
Why it's a bug
Active Commitments is the at-a-glance view most users want when opening Inventory & Coverage. RI Exchange is a more specialized workflow and shouldn't be the landing tab.
Acceptance criteria
Navigating to /inventory (or whatever the route is) lands on Active Commitments by default.
The tab order in the UI also reflects Active Commitments first.
Deep links to specific sub-tabs (e.g. /inventory?tab=ri-exchange) still work.
Files likely involved
frontend/src/modules/inventory.ts or frontend/src/inventory.ts (default sub-tab + tab order)
Any router config that controls deep-link defaults.
Verified shipped: PR #757 (commit eda0c6b, merged 2026-05-27) is in feat/multicloud-web-frontend. inventory.ts and index.html updated so Active Commitments is the default sub-tab; tests in inventory.test.ts confirm default.
Activity
fix(inventory): default sub-tab is Active Commitments, not RI Exchange
