On Windows, complete [Rook's native setup](/support/docs/rook-installation/#windows) first and use `npx.cmd` for the installer in PowerShell. Each coding client has its own platform requirements. The manual-copy recipes and CI examples in these docs use Bash; run them in a supported Bash environment such as WSL, keeping the client and skill in that same environment.
